Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join our leadership team. Initially reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), this role will transition to direct reporting to the CEO. The CHRO will provide comprehensive management oversight across all facets of Human Resources, including employee relations, employee experience, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR compliance, talent acquisition, and learning and development. This position is pivotal in ensuring HR initiatives align with the organization's overarching goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance on HR matters, leveraging extensive knowledge in the field.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to support strategic planning and effective communication of HR initiatives.
  • Cultivate a trustworthy and service-oriented HR department that exemplifies the organization's values and mission.
  • Ensure HR remains accessible to all staff and leaders, promoting a customer-first approach in all activities.
  • Oversee talent acquisition processes, ensuring compliance and effectiveness in recruiting top-tier candidates.
  • Lead the development and implementation of employee learning and growth programs aligned with company strategy.
  • Foster positive relationships and trust with employees while addressing and resolving workplace issues with integrity.
  • Champion performance management processes, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Direct the administration of compensation plans, assuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and proactively manage employee relations and related functions.
  • Develop and assess HR metrics to continuously improve practices and enhance employee experience.
  • Design and implement an engaging onboarding process for new hires, facilitating smooth integration into the organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the HR team to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive HR experience across various functions is essential.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP/SCP certification is highly desirable.
