GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours that your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study. Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.

Drug-Free Workplace: The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has established a Drug-Free Federal Workplace Policy. Duties
- Studies and analyzes a variety of statistical and technical data pertaining to operations and administrative functions.
- Provides administrative support for the activity through control and maintenance of correspondence/workload data and statistics and maintains suspense files.
- First line of control for the personnel management program by screening, researching, reviewing, or typing personnel actions prior to submission to Administrative Liaison.
- Prepares narrative analyses, graphs, charts, and management statistics of data for use in briefings and presentations.
- Utilizes office automation equipment to prepare reports and correspondence in final form from rough drafts or brief instructions.
- Receives customers and telephone inquiries. Refers calls and customers to various functional areas within the Depot utilizing knowledge of overall functions and individual assignments.

- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-6 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Type routine correspondence for review by supervisor.
- Performs a variety of general clerical tasks such as: Time and Attendance; schedules appointments, arranges time, participants, and location of meetings; makes travel arrangements for activity personnel.
- Review outgoing mail for completeness.
- Gather and summarize data on assigned programs.
- Utilizes a variety of office automation equipment and software applications.
- Typing Proficiency Requirement: Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
