As an Automation Technician, you will play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of automation systems for our clients in the Industrial Control Systems sector. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, installing, and commissioning automation systems, as well as developing and modifying HMI screens and configuring various field instruments. Duties And Responsibilities
- This position is a field position which will require being at a customer location every workday
- Troubleshoot various Automation & Instrument issues for customers
- Develop/Modify HMI Screens
- Configure/Modify RTUs & Flow Computers
- Configure wireless radios
- Install automation systems at various customer locations
- Commission newly installed automation systems
- Troubleshoot Instruments at customer locations
What you will need to be successful in this role:
- Strong work ethic
- Knowledge of RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, and field instruments
- Knowledge of field installations and components used for installations
- Knowledge of various wireless radio manufacturers such as Xetawave & Freewave
- Knowledge of Upstream Oil & Gas processes
- Ability to read panel and field schematics
- Ability to work in a team environment
