Business Intelligence Analyst
COUNTRY Financial
Date: 3 weeks ago
City: Bloomington, IL
Contract type: Full time
In this position, you'll have the opportunity to engage with business partners in Personal Lines and deliver BI solutions designed to meet the needs of the company. As support for personal lines, you'll translate business requests into actionable intelligence by creating reports, dashboards, and other analytical outputs that will be used to make data driven decisions. As data storage and analytics technologies are modernized, you'll have the chance to learn new tools, processes, and capabilities. You'll be plugged into a highly collaborative team that has deep expertise, but also looks for ways to continually grow their knowledge to help the company reach its strategic goals.
Familiarity with Property Casualty insurance would be very helpful in getting up to speed quickly in this role and understanding the specifics behind the requests and the data received and how the two relate.
Collaborating with coworkers to ensure full knowledge-sharing and updated documentation of each process is a critical role at COUNTRY and one which requires the right combination of self-motivation, problem solving, technical writing, and a comfort level with using data provided by your peers (or that you obtain yourself) to complete business partner requests. The keywords for success in this role are accuracy, completeness, collaboration, understanding, balancing, and timeliness.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.
