This position is based out of our corporate office in Bloomington, IL five days per week.
How does a Chief Experience Office (CXO) make an impact?
- Serves as a member of the credit union leadership team, actively participating in overall management, decision-making, budgeting and strategic planning activities.
- Serves as Credit Union Security Officer, ensuring alarm systems are functional and employees are trained in security procedures.
- Oversees member services, account and transaction activity, and deposit products. Develops, implements and administers new products/programs and initiate changes to better meet member needs and IAACU objectives.
- Oversees marketing strategy to attract new members and grow relationships with existing members. Effectively integrates marketing strategies and initiatives throughout the IAACU. Evaluates market trends and provides analysis and recommendations to management.
- Foster positive relationships with and represents the credit union to member companies, the financial community, representatives of regulatory agencies and the general public.
- Serves as the credit union’s Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / Patriot Act Officer. Oversees federally mandated filings.
- Performs research, prepares reports, and provides information and counsel to the Board of Directors, relevant committees and other entities, as requested. Serves on committees as designated.
- Exercises professional leadership by keeping abreast of current trends, developments, technology and opportunities within field of responsibility.
- Exemplifies the IAACU brand by providing members with a positive experience and the solutions to best meet their needs and financial goals. Promotes brand message within areas of responsibility and holds team accountable for brand execution.
- Fosters a positive environment where all team members are motivated and committed to contribute their best work.
- Creates a safe environment where team members are supported to make decisions and take action to achieve goals and objectives.
- Takes personal responsibility for making tough decisions, meeting commitments and adapting to ensure expected results are achieved.
- Assumes responsibility for implementing practices to integrate diversity, equity and inclusion while holding self and others accountable.
Do you have what we're looking for?
- Extensive experience with Customer or Member Experience Leadership.
- Previous Marketing Experiences.
- Strong Data and Analytics Acumen.
- Previous banking or credit union experience.
- Strong communication skills that can foster collaboration across diverse teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including rotating Saturdays.
- Periodic travel required, including some overnights.
- This is a leadership role, which typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training, including management experience.
