ClearView Healthcare Management is seeking a Cash Poster to join our growing team!

The Cash Poster ensures that all cash transactions are accurately recorded in the practice management system, identifying payments received and allocating them to the appropriate payer account. The Cash Poster will balance cash receipts to the daily bank sheet and reconcile any discrepancies.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess knowledge of health insurance billing.
  • Accurate and efficient payment and adjustment posting - must balance to bank deposit log daily
  • Possess knowledge of typing, spreadsheets, and computer billing systems.
  • A keen sense of judgment is needed, especially when handling insurance claims and dealing with patient accounts.
  • Possesses strong initiative to get daily work finished and processed.
  • Maintains regular attendance.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently.
  • Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with co-workers, supervisor and other facility employees.
  • Ability to multitask.


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Payment posting experience is highly desired
  • 2 or more years of clerical experience in health care environment preferred
  • Must be personable, friendly, and exhibit flexibility and positive interpersonal skills
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, & Outlook)
  • Experience working with MatrixCare preferred
