Modeling our core values to lead with service, respect all people, build community, and deliver results, the Warranty Coordinator is responsible for managing and completing owner occupied warranty repairs in a safe, effective, and efficient manner, with special attention to detail and quality this role will work closely with the Construction team, serving as the initial point of contact for warranty requests from homeowners with diverse backgrounds, including those in vulnerable situations.

Minimum Education, Experience And Skills
Math Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts related to residential construction such as quantity, costs, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, software, spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, and email. Proficiency with computer usage, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Essential Functions
- Coordinating and managing warranty requests from intake through completion.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of projects.
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing and approving invoices, estimates, scheduling, reporting, etc.
- Keep track of and report on project progress; take project photos.
- Frequent site visits and interactions with the Warranty Technician, subcontractors, supervisor, and homeowners.
- Work directly with Site Managers to help achieve project goals as needed.
- Oversee all aspects of warranty projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
- Work with Site Managers, Construction Manager, and Warranty Technician to maintain budgets and schedules.
- Participate and provide input for budgeting, procurement, planning, and scheduling.
- Funding Submittal and Reporting Support.
- Foster and maintain good relationships with homeowners from warranty request intake, to following up after the work is finished.
- Complete site visits where warranty work will be completed.
- Bridge communication between homeowners, warranty technicians, and subcontractors.
- Act as the main point of contact for homeowners, subcontractors, and warranty technicians regarding warranty.

Minimum Education, Experience And Skills
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree and/or 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- This is an in-person, office-based role. Frequent travel to construction sites is expected with about 40% of time spent in the field on average. A Habitat vehicle will be provided for travel to project sites but not for daily commuting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution.
- Ability and desire to work in collaborative environment to ensure successful project execution.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to multitask in a high volume, fast paced work environment with very tight deadlines.

- Regularly sit / work at computer for extended periods of time.
- Navigate building construction sites with exposure to normal weather conditions and hazards.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Extensive keyboarding is required.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, consisting of usual business office sounds including but not limited to computers, printers, telephones, and light foot traffic.
