KidzWorld Guest Relations Assistant Coordinator
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to Executive Assistant to Senior Administrative Pastor
Grade I ($ 12.40 - $17.90 Based on experience and qualification)
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The KidzWorld Guest Relations Assistant Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the coordination and implementation of all aspects of first-time guest follow up in KidzWorld. Works closely with database team to provide accurate information. Provides assistance with KidzWorld weekend check-in and guest relations.
The incumbent must perform all job duties as outlined in this job description to support ongoing mission of the church while committed in accordance with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000 edition).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assists in responding to all KidzWorld guest families by text, phone call, email, etc. (app. 35%)
- Assists in the coordination of follow-up visits for guest families. (app. 20%)
- Responds to inquiries and refers families to other ministry areas. (app. 10%)
- Assists with KidzWorld weekend check-in. (app. 10%)
- Assists in training for check-in and KidzWorld guide volunteers. (app. 10%)
- Assists with data entry to facilitate guest follow up. (app. 10%)
- Assists the Executive Assistant to the Senior Administrative Pastor with various special events to help connect new families with KidzWorld. (app. 5%)
These duties are subject to change as church needs and strategies evolve. Employee may be required to perform other duties.
EDUCATION/TRAINING
- A high school diploma/GED is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a children’s environment preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer relations preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Basic coordination and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency, knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and preferred knowledge of Planning Center and Basecamp.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Positive temperament, dependability, and professionalism.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands:
- Clearly communicate verbally with others to exchange information.
- Occasionally ascend and descend stairs and/or ramps.
- Frequently use repetitive hand motions for keyboard entry and typing.
- Frequently remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time—frequently sitting.
- Frequently view and operate technological devices, including but not limited to computers, phones, and printers.
- Frequently move self in different positions to accomplish tasks, sometimes stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
- Frequently accomplish tasks using near and far fields of vision.
- Sometimes lift, carry, and move up to 10 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position works primarily indoors.
NewSpring Classification Definitions
Full-time: Set schedule of 30-40 hours/week
Part-time Flex: Set schedule of 15-29 hours/week
Part-time Peak: Set schedule of 5-14 hours/week
Seasonal: Hours & days scheduled are as directed by manager.
Weekends are required for this position.
