ROLE: The Regional Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple branch locations within a designated region. This role focuses on driving branch growth, enhancing member relationships, and ensuring exceptional member service. The Regional Branch Manager will lead a team of branch managers and staff to achieve strategic objectives and maintain operational excellence.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Lead and support branch managers and Senior QSRs in achieving performance targets and operational goals.
- Foster positivity and a productive work environment that encourages employee engagement and development.
- Works primarily with branch managers and Senior QSRs to develop leadership skills, increase productivity, solve day to day consumer and employee issues/questions.
- Works with Regional Branch administrator to ensure effective operations and minimize potential losses to the credit union by providing necessary support and development to teams.
- Drive sales growth across the region by identifying opportunities and developing strategies to capture new business
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and community outreach efforts.
- Manage operational expenses and optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability.
- Identify training needs and provide coaching and mentorship to branch managers and staff.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the region.
- Provides necessary support to branch and other enterprise personnel in posting errors, questions and clarification relating to existing policies and procedures, dealing with requests to add new or change existing policies and procedures and general balancing issues.
- Directs and advises all of the area’s manager and Sr QSRS to effectively promote and deliver the organizations products and services and guide them how to coach their team to achieve pre-determined goals by following TMA philosophy.
- Oversees and completes all projects as assigned. Keeps management apprised of all critical issues.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of experience in branch management or regional management within the financial industry.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management preferred.
- Related field experience required.
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in financial analysis and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
ADA REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sitting; walking; bending; squatting; kneeling; pushing/pulling; reaching; twisting; frequent lifting of less than 10 lbs.; occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of member service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
