What you will do

The Consumer Marketing Manager is responsible for working as part of a team to develop and implement specific US direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing activities for Bone Health Franchise (EVENITY and Prolia). This role reports to an Associate Director and will be part of a robust marketing team who interacts with cross-functional teams and partnering agencies/vendors. You will be joining a team that is extremely passionate and dedicated to improving patients’ lives.

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital position, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the consumer marketing strategy and long-term growth trajectory of the Bone Health franchise. This role provides a tremendous opportunity for a candidate gain a

deep understanding of consumer strategy and marketing. They drive digital strategy and execution, and lead (with support from Associate Director) the production of a patient testimonial video.

  • Develop and implement DTC marketing initiatives, messages and materials to meet brand objectives, create differentiation for the brand, and stimulate appropriate consumer awareness, starts, and adherence
  • Leverage market research and clinical data into effective consumer campaigns or programs
  • Drive strategy and execution of new EVENITY campaign digital assets & patient events
  • Lead project management with advertising agencies and external vendors to deliver impactful materials within budget and timelines while delivering on brand important metrics
  • Partner cross functionally to develop critical metric framework and monitor/analyze channel performance, customer engagement, and market trends to find opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Champion patient-centric mentality and share standard methodologies across the organization
  • Prepare and present project updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval (Collaborate and foster positive relationships with the MAC team and to ensure an effective and productive promotional review process)
  • Develop key metrics to assess value through analytics and measure success. Recommend optimizations where needed.
  • Manage significant budgets, POs and closely monitor performance, ensuring cost effective delivery of all programs
  • Agency and cross-functional team management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree

Or

  • Master’s degree and 2 years of marketing and/or sales experience

Or

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of marketing and/or sales experience

Or

  • Associate degree and 10 years of marketing and/or sales experience

Or

  • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing and/or sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in developing campaigns; understanding of qualitative and quantitative market research and data to influence decisions
  • Understanding of media metrics, reports and research data and ability to analyze campaign results
  • Navigate the complexities of a matrixed organization
  • Experience managing agencies
  • Strong self-starter, problem-solver, ability to lead others to meet multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously in a cross-functional, team-based environment
  • Innovative and practical thinking to deliver optimal experience for patients

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
