Title: Maintenance Technician

The Dartmouth Group, a well-established condo management company certified as a "Great Place to Work", is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for one of our condominium properties.

Duties Include:

The Maintenance Technician (MT) will oversee and ensure the maintenance of the cleanliness and the physical integrity of the property.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to resident requests for maintenance service courteously and professionally. Following the identification of the problem, the MT will communicate with residents regarding the problem and assist in assuring accuracy of work requests, identification of outside vendors when necessary to resolve the problem.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of and the ability to perform hands-on general maintenance work in appliance/equipment repair, minor electrical repair, plumbing, and basic carpentry for the common areas and equipment on the property.

Other requirements and responsibilities include supervision of snow removal, landscape, and other vendors maintaining the building and grounds.

Requirements:

The MT should have availability for "on-call" rotation every other week, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and be able to work on your feet for long periods of time.

Reliable transportation is a requirement, and candidates must pass a drug test.

Working Conditions


  • Typical outside work environment (frequent standing, walking, lifting and/or operating powered equipment using proper safety techniques or tools).
  • Some overtime required (on-call, weekends, 24hr emergency, etc.)
