Four Queens Hotel and Casino
Responsible for all aspects of dealing assigned games and assists the Table Games Supervisor in tracking play and game observation. Greets and recruits new casino customers while providing friendly, excellent service to every guest.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Six (6) months multiple games dealing experience required (current specific game requirements, i.e. Blackjack, Roulette, Dice and/or Pai Gow, Dice available upon request in Human Resources.
Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must be able to read, verify and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in a small area.
Protects the integrity of games through observation and follows appropriate procedures.
Reads, verifies and signs appropriate documents when necessary.
Must be able to memorize game rules and procedures.
Deals assigned games by delivering cards or assigned games pieces, determining winners and losers, collecting and paying bets.
Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.

Strong mathematical skills and ability to make accurate payoffs in a timely manner.
Ability to work under stressful conditions, noisy atmosphere, with exposure to secondary smoke.
Ability to pass a dealing audition.
Ability to deal a single and multiple deck, either hand-held or from a shoe.
Ability to effectively protect the game and spot cheating scams.

Acknowledges, greets and converses with guests who approach the pit area. As a greeter, tracks multiple players level and duration of play and makes introductions and solicits customer responses. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver in and around assigned table in the pit department during entire shift, with regular interval breaks. Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast pace environment. Responds to visual and aural cues. Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and money. Must be able to accurately balance chip bank at the beginning and end of shift. Must have excellent vision (including peripheral) to protect the games. Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.

Reports to Twenty-One Floorperson
Deals the game of twenty-one to guests seated at the dealer's table, maintaining an average number of hands per hour as established by the casino.
Sells chips and tokens to players for currency and slips currency through slit in table into the drop box.
Pays off winning hands in accordance with payoff schedule established by the casino.
Collects losing wagers from players, inserting these chips and tokens into the chip rack.
Explains the rules of the game using personal, customer relations skills.
Refers customer disputes to the supervising floorperson.
Counts and verifies table fills and credits and signs for same.
Accepts tips from players in accordance with internal control procedures.
Shuffles deck of cards in accordance with established casino procedures.
Is aware of internal control procedures, state gaming laws, and the Bank Secrecy Act requirements.
