We’re looking for a Field Service Technician to service the South Dakota market and perform field service and repairs on customer material handling equipment. As a Field Service Technician, you’ll primarily be working independently across the state of South Dakota driving a company-provided service truck to the customer’s place of operations, but you’ll always have the support of the entire RION Equipment team.

PRIMARY FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN JOB DUTIES:

• Remove, install, repair, disassemble, assemble, and perform failure analysis of all forklift and material handling equipment including engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic and computer applications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair most types and brands of lifts
• Read and understand schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems
• Perform proper preventative maintenance promptly
• Work in a variety of customer locations and industry environments
• Accurately complete service reports daily
