About The Role

As a Quality Technician within our Manufacturing team, you will play an integral role in maintaining and enhancing product quality standards. Positioned above the entry-level Quality Inspector role, this position requires a more advanced understanding of quality assurance processes, technical documentation, and precision measurement. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed inspections, performing quality tests, and analyzing processes to identify areas for improvement. By collaborating with the production team, you will ensure that quality objectives are achieved at every stage of the manufacturing process. This role directly supports the organization's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive inspections and quality tests on materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
  • Identify and document defects or non-conformities, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to address quality issues and implement solutions to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality performance metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality data and providing input for process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Utilize and maintain measurement tools and equipment, ensuring accuracy and calibration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in quality control or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, or a related field).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards or other quality management systems.
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and related methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and experience in implementing corrective actions.
