Summary
Call to Freedom is dedicated to bringing wholeness to all individuals impacted by sex and labor trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation by navigating a healing path through our continuum of care model. The Senior Director of Operations will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all operational functions within the organization. This role is vital to ensuring the non-profit's mission-driven activities are supported by efficient, effective, and scalable operational processes. The Senior Director will work closely with the President & CEO and the Board of Directors to align operational activities with the organization's broader goals and values, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.

Required Education And/Or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Non-Profit Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of non-profit operational processes and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills, including experience working with Boards of Directors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in operational software and tools relevant to non-profit management.
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and objectives.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize cross-functional workflows.
- People Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations and program team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Supervise CTF program and operational leadership with direction of CEO.
- Implement professional development and coaching programs to enhance team performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Actively foster relationships with staff, seeking to enhance a culture of open communication.
- Oversee workforce planning, including recruitment, training, and retention strategies.
- Strategic Planning and Board Collaboration:
- Participate in organizational strategic planning to align operations with long-term goals.
- Regularly report to the Board of Directors on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to identify and mitigate risks related to operational activities.
- Assist with managing the operations budget, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources.
- Lead efforts to scale operations in line with organizational growth.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team.
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to inform strategic decisions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the CEO, the operations and program team.
- Communicate operational performance, challenges, and opportunities to executive leadership and the Board.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and donors, to support organizational objectives.
- Oversee tasks for the East River Human Trafficking Task Force with oversight of CEO.
- Other Duties as Assigned:
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the CEO to meet the needs of the organization.
