Non-Destructive Inspection Technician

Who YOU are and what YOU can become:

Perform inspections to customer requirements and technical procedures. Perform evaluation of test results and provide acceptance/rejection disposition.

What YOU will do:

• Collaborate with Level 3 in the creation of technique sheets

• Maintenance of equipment and calibration

• Control of Safety related equipment

• Comply with all safety and PPE requirements

• Ability to work flexible shifts to support production

What YOU must bring to Succeed:

• HS diploma / GED equivalent

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience

• Current or recent certifications to NAS 410 Level 2 in the Ultrasonic NDT method, with familiarization of both pulse echo and through transmission techniques

• Composites structure evaluation knowledge

• Basic knowledge in MS Word and Excel and ability to read blueprints is highly preferred

• Candidate to successfully pass internal examination within 45 days

• Participate in mandatory FAA Drug Test program

Desired Characteristics

• Current or recent certifications to NAS 410 Penetrant or Radiographic NDT methods

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside STE (regulatory agencies)

Estimate salary range for this role: $60,700 to $75,000+ per year. ST Engineering considers several factors when extending job offers, including candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
