We encourage the development of healthy relationships and personal growth through group and individual treatment programs. Our mentors and clinicians work closely with the client's treatment teams, families, and guardians to ensure they receive the most effective services. MENTORING/DIRECT SERVICES/BEHAVIOR COACHINGOur Direct Services program is available for clients from early childhood to youth and teens, all through adulthood, with locations in Phoenix, Glendale, Chandler, Tempe, and Casa Grande. We provide treatment focusing on individual goals, family support, health & wellness, life skills, and emotion management.Individual/Group sessions are provided but not limited to the following:

  • General Mental Health (GMH)
  • Substance Abuse
  • Psycho-educational Topics
  • Anger Management
  • Emotion Regulation
  • Grief/Loss/Trauma
  • Healthy Relationships

ABOUT NEW HORIZON COMMUNITY CARE (NHCC)New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is a non-profit agency specializing in outpatient behavioral health services, serving at-risk youth, teens, and adults throughout the valley.Established in 2001, NHCC has developed a programming structure that challenges, encourages, and empowers clients to enhance their self-esteem and modify behaviors in order to become productive community members. Clients participate in activities, groups, and life lessons that help them assess their internal strengths and capabilities and improve decision-making skills.Our agency proudly and productively works with everyone involved with each client's program.   • Must meet the minimum state licensing requirement for Behavioral Health Technicians or Para Professionals
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience working with at-risk or behavioral health with youth, teens, or adults
  • Valid AZ Driver's License with no restrictions
  • APPLICANTS MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO COMPLETE CRIMINAL HISTORY SELF-DISCLOSURE AFFIDAVITS AND OBTAIN AN ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY (DPS) UNRESTRICTED LEVEL 1 FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE CARD, WHICH INVOLVES STATE AND FEDERAL CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.**All positions at NHCC are safety-sensitive, as defined in ARS 23-439. Therefore, the company prohibits the use, sale, manufacture, distribution, or possession of alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, medical marijuana, or drug paraphernalia on any and all segments of the company premises, company-owned vehicles, or personal vehicles used for company business or parked on company property. NHCC is a drug-free zone with zero tolerance for violators.*Salary: (Based on education and experience in the behavioral health field)$20.00 - 23.00 per hourNew Horizon Community Care offers an excellent benefits package:
