Position Summary
Nursing Professional Development (NPD) is a specialized nursing practice that facilitates professional role development and growth of nurses and other healthcare personnel along the continuum of novice to expert.
The RN Educator has the primary responsibility of delivering engaging, evidence-based instruction based in adult learning theory to clinical providers. Instructors may utilize a variety of training methods to optimize the translation and retention of knowledge, skill, and/or competence in the learner.
NPD is looking for a collaborative, organized, and personable, RN Educator. This person works in partnership with the staff development specialist to provide evidenced based instruction, education, communication, mentoring, and competency assessment. The RN educator is a professional licensed registered nurse and uses adult learning theory, experience, evidence-based practice, and collaboration to support the professional development and experience of nurses and clinical support staff.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN), healthcare, or related field, preferred
- Demonstrated effective communication skills
- Knowledge of a clinical environment
- Ability to deliver engaging content in person or via virtual setting
- RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
- Competitive starting wage
