Consumer Services Analyst

This is a highly responsible, professional position focused on responding to postal and email communications and face-to-face visits by individuals to the Governor to request assistance, express opinions, and register agency complaints. The position duties may include routing written correspondence or emails to other team members or agencies for follow up/resolution and preparing proclamations. The position requires extensive knowledge regarding the operations of state agencies and the Governor’s priorities and policies, as well as the ability to interact with constituents with courtesy and tact.
Responsibilities
- Respond to postal and electronic correspondence to the Governor’s Office; prepare proclamations; postal and electronic routing to EOG units, OPB units, and other external agencies.
- Meet with constituents face-to-face to assist in resolution of concerns.
- Collaborate with other correspondence analysts and team members to provide simplified access to services and expedite the delivery of information and benefits.
- Keep abreast of current events as they relate to government services, laws, executive orders, press releases/conferences, and other actions of the Governor or state agencies.
- Participate in team meetings and provide verbal and written reports.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to analyze written and verbal communication; ability to produce concise, clear written and verbal communication; knowledge of operations of state agencies; attention to detail.
