The Sales Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and managing programs that enhance the skills of our sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful. This individual will be tasked with implementing learning solutions to aid in ongoing product knowledge, market insights, and selling skills. Candidate will work with others, outside of the sales team, to review all processes and implementation procedures to ensure new Agora sales team members are onboarded and ready for success on day one of their employment.
What Youll Do
- Onboard sales talent with a focus on long-term success.
- Develop and implement effective, results-driven training programs.
- Proactively assess knowledge gaps within sales teams in collaboration with appropriate colleagues to seek opportunities to address gaps through training initiatives and programs.
- Work with Sales Leadership to review, adjust, design, develop, & implement training for areas of improvement.
- Partner with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to identify training needs, improve training solutions, and lead change initiative implementation.
What You Need
- Bachelors degree required or the equivalent coursework in a related specialized field and 5+ years of related experience, or a masters degree.
- 5+ years of industry and commercial experience, including auto, structured finance, and/or financial services.
- 2 years in an HQ sales training role, and product launch experience a plus.
- Experience delivering training to a variety of audiences in a corporate setting.
- Experience with the Challenger Selling Model is a plus.
- PC and e-communication proficiency required; MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, and other web-enabled remote training tools.

- Team player and able to interact with team members.
- Strong platform/presentation/facilitation skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Candidate needs to command a strong classroom presence, understand the auto industry, and display the ability to convert concepts, skills, and knowledge into a learning context for participants.
- Project management abilities.
- Adept at learning and teaching new technical, financial, and regulatory information.
- Self-motivated and managed; ability to work independently and as part of a team with limited supervision.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively organize tasks and meet strict time and production deadlines without compromising the quality of deliverables.
Physical Requirements
- Willingness to travel and overnight availability
- Sitting for long periods of time.
- Staring at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
