Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and transfer techniques
  • Administer medications and assist with medication management under the guidance of a healthcare professional
  • Monitor and report any changes in patients' physical or emotional condition to the healthcare team
  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
  • Help with light household chores and errands as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
  • Attend training and education programs to improve skills and knowledge

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
  • Must be able to lift and transfer patients safely
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
