The role of the CD Finance Analytics Associate is to drive the end-to-end customer finance analytics program for the Seventh Generation business in United States. The finance lead in this role will partner with US Home Care sales teams to drive profitable growth and develop best practices for improvement in trade spend management. Key responsibilities will include driving clarity around trade spend vs. budget, forecasting trade cycles, performance management and long-term customer investment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing sales data, customer profitability, and financial performance to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of CD annual trade budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Customer Insights: Gathering and interpreting customer data to support strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators such as USG%, Customer Contribution margins related to top customer for SVG and reporting on variances.
  • Risk Management: Identifying financial risks related to customer development activities and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Recommending and implementing process improvements related to trade planning and budget cycles.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification (CPA) preferred.
  • Over 6+ years’ experience in financial, operational, and business partnering roles preferably within Customer Development/Sales Finance.
  • Basic level of competence in sales finance systems such as Evergreen and Pigment.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to respond under pressure.
  • Experience in driving P&L performance improvements (e.g. closing gaps vs. target) and holding others accountable (particularly peers and senior leadership).
  • Experience in managing a large and complex set of stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with and influencing senior leaders within the organisation.
  • Experience in presenting to and communicating with senior Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in multi-national teams and/or a virtual team environment would be an advantage.
