CCVLP is seeking our very first staff position dedicated to development: a Donor Engagement Officer who is dedicated to cultivating donor relationships, fostering a culture of gratitude, and supporting the expansion of CCVLP’s civil legal aid services for low-income and marginalized individuals.

Position Overview:

As the Donor Engagement Officer, you’ll develop and implement strategies to maintain and grow CCVLP’s funding base, with a particular focus on unrestricted operating funds. You’ll cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, explore opportunities for planned giving, and oversee the implementation of a donor tracking database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective donor stewardship programs, including personalized strategies to acknowledge and celebrate contributions.
  • Research, propose, and implement a donor tracking database to improve management and engagement.
  • Advocate for CCVLP as a recipient of planned estate giving and explore connections with underrepresented donor sectors.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to identify funding sources aligned with CCVLP’s equity principles.
  • Participate in community events, deliver presentations, and build relationships with current and prospective donors.
  • Evaluate CCVLP fundraising efforts and provide recommendations for sustainability and growth.
  • Support grant reporting and research as time permits.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and a collaborative, forward-thinking approach.
