SUMMARY
Enforces company safety regulations. Oversees all safety training programs and ensure the company is OSHA compliant. Identifies and documents areas that do not meet company safety standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for new hire safety training to include blood borne pathogen training, fire safety, and OSHA regulations.
2. Responsible for annual safety training for the engineering, housekeeping and security departments.
3. Conducts property inspections at least once every six months..
4. Ensure that record keeping is maintained in accordance with OSHA and any other regulatory agency.
5. Interfaces with all departments to ensure compliance.
6. Maintains networking capabilities across the city to ensure that all properties have an awareness of safety related incidents.
7. Reviews accident reports and follows up with preventative measures when applicable.
8. Participates in departmental brainstorming meetings.
9. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Ability to speak, read, write and understand English. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills required.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol. Duties require professional verbal and written communications skills.
4. Must be 21 years of age and be able to obtain all local, state and federal regulatory permits as required by position.
5. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and evenings.
