- Ensure compliance with State regulations, as well as with Keystone STARS
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate childcare staff, including teachers and assistants
- Oversee the daily operations of the childcare facility, including maintenance, cleanliness, and safety procedures
- Maintain open communication with parents, including regular updates on children's progress, addressing concerns, and holding parent meetings
- Develop and manage the center's budget, including allocating funds for staff, supplies, and program needs
- Promote the childcare center to attract new families and maintain optimal enrollment levels
- Respond effectively to emergencies and unexpected situations involving children and staff
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
- Oversee and manage the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
- Past Childcare experience
- Associate’s Required, bachelor’s degree in education is preferred
- PA Director Credential preferred
- Demonstrate experience managing a team
- Deep understanding of childcare, child development, and education
