The Quality Control Manager has the overall responsibility for overseeing and enhancing the consistency, accuracy, and quality of Elite Sportswear's in-house product quality. This role is integral to developing and maintaining rigorous quality standards that align with the company's commitment to excellence. The Quality Control Manager will utilize specialized knowledge to drive improvements across three key areas:
- Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards.
- Ensure a high level of internal and external communication regarding all customer complaints.
- Analyze statistical data of customer returns to determine areas of focus.
- Establish Quality Control Standards
- Leads the training and development of team members on Quality Control processes.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures to establish a Quality Control Manual.
- Monitor and report on all activities, processes, and procedures.
- Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.
- Leads the daily Quality Control meeting to implement actions and daily work plan.
- Monitor and analyze emails from Customer Engagement daily to ensure timely and efficient communication.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to address any potential issues, ensuring transparent and timely communication with relevant departments.
- Coordinate with Production and Customer Engagement to ensure Repair Orders are executed correctly and timely.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of returned garments identifying trends and areas requiring quality improvement.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for major quality concerns, ensuring raid and effective resolution.
- Create auditing tools and reports, analyzing findings to develop focused, data-driven corrective action plans.
- Exceptionally organized and solution oriented.
- Collaborate and develop relationships cross-functionality to expand process knowledge, exchange ideas and leverage resources and expertise to improve processes as needed.
- Positive, professional demeanor and proactive approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks across multiple seasons successfully.
- Self-starter, able to accomplish goals with little supervision.
- A four-year college degree is required. This must be in fashion and/or textile design, or a closely related subject matter, or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in the apparel industry.
- Proficiency with personal computers in a Microsoft Windows environment for Excel and Word is required.
$80k-$120k/yearly
