Seeking an experienced professional to work as a Gaming Applications Analyst in our Information Technology department specializing in Gaming products. Gaming Applications Analyst specializes in understanding the needs of the business owners and translating them into technical specifications. They formulate business and functional requirements or systems specifications across multiple business functions or application environments to create system and software solutions, and executes projects independently. The Gaming Applications Analyst is expected to maintain expertise across an application environment (e.g., gaming suite) and work effectively with other information technology professionals to ensure that the application environment is stable, efficient and responsive to business needs. The position involves analysis and presentation of information to business owners, including Marketing, Player Development, Casino and Hospitality Operations. These initiatives will be done in accordance with department policies, procedures, and standards to support information systems development and maintenance.

- Responsible to the Director of IT Applications for successful performance of assigned duties.
- Responsible for the successful maintenance of gaming applications and processes
- Team
- Collaborates with other Casino departments on projects or tasks related to the business to ensure quality and efficient products are delivered.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise for business functions or configuration of application systems environments in the Live Casino & Hotel Application suite.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops that involve eliciting process requirements and liaising with users.
- In partnership with the IT Business Analyst provide subject matter expertise for determining business requirements to address business opportunities or issues across business functions within the gaming applications.
- Assess and analyze existing processes and data to identify improvement opportunities and present findings to stakeholders for discussion.
- Act as a representative of Technology Services to internal and external customers.
- Monitor and maintain local IT infrastructure.
- Debug production reported issues and suggest manual workarounds.
- Perform other job related functions as assigned.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino procedures, company and promotions and policies.
- Through various oral and written reports to the Director of IT Applications and/or the Chief Information Officer.
- Through positive feedback collected from surveys, focus groups, etc.
- Through performance evaluations.
- Through achievement of performance goals.
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
- Familiar in all aspects of system analysis, testing and a basic understanding of project management, system development life cycle and agile deployment methodologies.
- Knowledge of third party systems that integrate with the Casino Management System (e.g. Micros POS, Infor HMS, Newave, MGT, Atrient, etc.)
- The ability to take action by oneself without direction from others; to anticipate and develop solutions to problems without the aid of others for assigned projects.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed business requirements, functional requirements, Use Cases

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred. Technical experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree or certification.
- Casino gaming experience required.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Gaming Applications Analyst or similar position.
- 5+ years’ experience with Customer/Marketing Applications; including Websites, Loyalty Systems, Customer Relationship Management, and/or Campaign Management.
- Agile experience preferred.
- Solid problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated analytical abilities.
- Strong skills in Microsoft OS and SQL Servers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact with employees at multiple levels of the organization
- Office environment.
- 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees
- Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
