Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a knack for building strong relationships and solving problems creatively? If so, we want you to join our team as a Logistics Specialist!
As a key player in our Procurement department, you’ll ensure the consistent and on-time delivery of products to CCP through strong partnerships with freight vendors. This role is vital to our success and offers opportunities to collaborate with various teams, make a tangible impact, and grow professionally.
What You’ll Do
- Build and manage efficient freight loads across multiple regions, optimizing for cost and logistics.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates and assign loads to carriers.
- Oversee dispatching and scheduling to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate closely with shippers, freight carriers, and internal teams to address and resolve any issues.
- Manage freight lanes for various regions, including the Pacific Northwest, East Coast, and more.
- Provide rotational weekend coverage and be available to address issues after hours.
What We’re Looking For

- Strong relationship-building abilities with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and creatively solve problems under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in email, spreadsheets, ERP systems, and other common office software.
- On-call availability for urgent situations after hours or on weekends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma (additional training or education preferred).
- Experience with logistics or freight management is a plus.
- Adaptable, dependable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Office-based role with occasional interaction in a refrigerated warehouse environment.
- Requires light lifting and prolonged computer use.
