Bartender

Summary: Take orders, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages courteously and efficiently according to hotel procedures. In addition, maintain stock/supplies and cleanliness of outlet and equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Take orders, prepare beverages and provide them to guests in a courteous manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area, bar tops, floors and line equipment.
• Receives, issues and keeps necessary records of liquor and other bar supplies.
• Refills and stocks garnishes and glassware.
• Follows cash handling and Info Genesis POS procedures.
• Follows cash and comp procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least a year of previous experience in a high-volume bar.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Walking, standing or stooping (75% of the time).
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
