Product Support Specialist

Summary

The Service Specialist is responsible for coordinating with the Remarketing Team and Branch Service Departments on the intake, processing and repairing of USED equipment in preparation for sale.

Essential Functions

• Ensure we received all attachments and items included in trade offer
• Track and initiate the check-in process on all USED equipment upon receipt of trade ins or purchased units using established process.
• Determine required repairs, get estimates, assist the Technical Reconditioning Specialist with opening ROs while staying within budget.
• Communicate with Branch Service personnel to ensure machines are prepared within budget and according to estimates and released for sale in a timely manner.
• Update Remarketing website evals and pictures to reflect current condition of machines and release to sales force.
• Communicate with VP, Remarketing if issues arise needing special consideration
• Assist with other duties assigned and directed by corporate management within the framework of Murphy Tractor’s objectives.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Strong focus on customer service
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet
• Strong Knowledge of Warranty Administration
• Basic Knowledge of office machines, including copier and printer
• Strong knowledge of construction equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to process work with accuracy and meet commitments and deadlines
• Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to multitask
• Able to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
• Ability to use interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate via email and telephone with tact and courtesy
• Demonstrate openness to new procedures, technology and structure. Endeavor to streamline and improve existing processes.
• Possess valid Driver’s License

Physical Requirements and Work Schedule

Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. Able to work additional hours if necessary

Education/Work Experience

High School diploma or GED required. Previous related experience preferred.
