Staff Nurse – RN – Critical Care Float - Full time - Nights

This role supports the NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center Critical Care inpatient units including the Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuroscience ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Step-Down Units and more. Nurses in this dynamic role support the state-of-the-art Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns by recovering post-Cesarean Section and post-procedural obstetrical patients in the PACU and by playing a critical role in maternal emergency response.

  • This position offers experience, education, float pool and night shift differential on top of your base pay.

Preferred Criteria

  • Minimum two years’ experience as a Critical Care RN
  • Experience with caring for Post-Cesarean Section patients/ Obstetrical emergencies

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current NYS RN licensure
  • BCLS and ACLS certification
  • Proven experience to work autonomously in high pressure situations
