We are seeking a detail-oriented Mail Room Associate to join our team in Portland, ME. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing mail while maintaining high standards of accuracy and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Operate mailroom equipment, such as postage meters, copiers, and scanners.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.
- Ensure timely delivery of correspondence and packages to internal departments.
- Monitor inventory of mailroom supplies and restock as needed.
- Provide support for other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move packages (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with mailroom procedures and equipment (preferred but not required).
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
