Job Summary: We are looking for a Front-End Designer with a strong focus on UI/UX design excellence, leveraging modern design principles to create elegant, user-centered interfaces. While the emphasis is on exceptional design, a foundational understanding of Next.js, React.js, and front-end technologies is essential to collaborate effectively with developers. This role will ensure designs are visually stunning, accessible, and responsive across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design responsive, visually stunning user interfaces using Figma, incorporating modern design trends and user-centered principles.
  • Develop interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas and workflows to stakeholders and developers.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately in Next.js and React.js environments.
  • Maintain and expand design systems to ensure consistency across multiple applications.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate designs and refine the user experience.
  • Ensure all designs align with WCAG accessibility standards for inclusivity.
  • Apply a data-driven approach by leveraging feedback and user engagement metrics to inform design iterations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on web and SaaS applications.
  • Mastery of Figma, including creating components, managing design systems, and building interactive prototypes.
  • Strong understanding of modern design principles, including responsiveness, simplicity, and accessibility.
  • Familiarity with Next.js and React.js environments to collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Proven ability to create designs optimized for multiple screen sizes and platforms.
  • Exceptional visual design skills with a portfolio showcasing high-quality, user-centered design projects.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting user testing and analyzing engagement data to improve UI/UX designs.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization principles for UI design (e.g., optimizing assets, understanding front-end constraints).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to support communication with developers.

Portfolio Requirement:

Applicants must provide a portfolio showcasing:

  • High-quality, responsive UI/UX designs with a focus on user engagement.
  • Figma prototypes demonstrating design workflows and system consistency.
  • Examples of collaboration with developers in modern front-end environments like Next.js or React.js.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation Range: $90,000–$115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
