This role is ideal for educators, graduate students, or professionals who want to make a meaningful impact while working a few hours each week.Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- Provide academic tutoring and support in high school-level English and Math.
- Assist students in completing coursework and staying on track with school assignments.
- Communicate regularly with schools, virtual school programs, and parents to monitor progress and address academic needs.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate varying learning styles and academic levels.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to align academic support with therapeutic goals.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (required).
- Proficiency in teaching high school-level English and Math.
- Teaching or tutoring experience with adolescents.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with schools and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Experience in therapeutic or special education settings (preferred).
- Competitive hourly rate.
