Event Associate

Position: Event Associate: Part Time

Location: Florida

FLSA Class: Non-exempt (hourly)

Reports to: Sales Rep

Summary:

Kiefer Aquatics is hiring an Event Associate for weekend and weekday events to assist with swim team fittings, swim meets, and other swim events. Some travel will be required as events are located throughout Florida. We seek individuals who enjoy helping parents and swimmers of all ages and can work on weekends. Essential Functions/Primary Duties:

• Previous swimming knowledge not required but helpful
• Ability to converse with parents and swimmers of all ages
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and have a valid driver’s license
• Must be available to work weekdays and some weekends

Working Conditions:

The work environment includes frequent changes in temperature depending on outdoor climate and occasional loud noises with no exposure to hazardous materials.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This is a non-supervisory position.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands represent those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly required to stand for long periods, kneel, climb, twist, move about the warehouse, and lift in excess of 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. Use of hands and fingers to handle objects and tools and reach with hands and arms. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
