Security Officer

Berman Security Agency LLC is looking to hire experienced Security Officers.

Shift is Saturday and Sunday, 6 am-6 pm.

Essential Employees

Essential employees are defined as anyone whose job functions is essential to the active operation of Berman and subsidiaries. Essential employees are to report to work during business closure to meet operational requirements of Berman and subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible and professional presence while on post and patrol and engage with guests and employees while maintaining a high amount of knowledge about the property.
• Preserve confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets; support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect, and help the team to reach common goals and comply with firm standards and expectations.
• Handle all issues and complaints in a professional and composed manner during emergency situations; respond to accidents, contact EMS, or administer first aid/CPR as required, gather information and complete incident reports.
• Operate motor vehicles.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years security experience; prior hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to exercise good judgment and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long extended periods.
• Flexibility to work on any shift as needed.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Able to:

• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain, or heat.
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
