Overview
The Clinical Technologies Training Manager manages all aspects of healthcare application training for a large Federally Qualified Health Center, with a primary focus on the athenaOne electronic health records application including but not limited to additional applications supported by the Clinical Technologies Team.

The Clinical Technologies Training Manager manages all aspects of healthcare application training for a large Federally Qualified Health Center, with a primary focus on the athenaOne electronic health records application including but not limited to additional applications supported by the Clinical Technologies Team.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the challenges of creating a training program for an organization that is functionally diverse with 4 clinical service lines (Family Practice, Pediatrics, OBGyn, and Behavioral Health), and a mobile mammography unit (Big Pink Bus) with clinic locations spanning 6
- Manage Training Specialist Team and ensure all Training Specialist are competent to perform end user trainings and all sub-responsibilities as expected.
- Assist the Director of Clinical Technologies with the development and implementation of creating a clear change management pathway for internal and external project deliverables as they relate to enhancements of clinical technology Serve as primary support for the change management function post implementation.
- Provide the Director of Clinical technologies with routine updates as they relate to systems, staff, projects, training and change management
- Prepare clear, concise written reports and
- Perform thorough review of system seasonal releases, plan validation testing when system
- Prioritize and build the training content in the selected e-learning Update content as necessary, concurrent with system and/or workflow updates.
- Develop testing protocols to assess user comprehension and subject
- Develop New Employee Orientation training for each clinical service line and functional area, leaning primarily on e-learning tools and in-person training with trainers.
- Design user training and education modules in a variety of formats including print, slide presentations, multi-media tutorials, video productions, and other instructional aides as
- Ensure training needs are identified by maintaining ongoing contact with internal
- Cultivate a culture of positivity regarding technology tools and the value of data collection and
- Complete all required eLearning for athenaOne.
- Perform training sessions for new employees and current.
- Proactively seek for continued educational information as it relates to athenaOne and supplemental clinical technologies systems
- Participate in routine organization meetings and serve as a subject matter expert of
- Maintain up to date content for end users to access using the HALO system.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSE:
Required
- 2+ years daily experience in training, support, or hands-on implementation (e.g. ‘go live team’)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous software training experience
- Healthcare delivery experience particularly with use of an EHR in practice
- Prior experience with personnel team/management
