At Glowforge, we help people bring home the future and make it their own. Our printer uses a laser to carve and engrave products from raw materials like wood, leather, acrylic – even cardboard. Take a look and see for yourself ! We build magical products to delight our customers, and we do it while taking care of each other. We hire people who are outstanding at what they do, who thrive in tight-knit teams, and who want to make things that make a difference. Together, we've built a product we're exceptionally proud of, and the reward has been incredible growth. We work together because we believe in the power of creativity. We believe we can bring about a future where anyone can print anything. This is a full-time role in our Seattle facility.
Why We Need You
Glowforge exists because we want to inspire the world with the power of creativity. Every Glowforge unit we send out is a dream in the making for a passionate Maker eager to build something extraordinary. Managing the complex tapestry of a global supply chain —so these creators get their materials right when they need them—is a daunting task. Without your expert orchestration, those dreams might not take flight. Your exceptional management of our materials plan isn't just about logistics; it's about enabling thousands of creators to bring their visions to life, multiplying joy around the world.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
As our Materials Manager, you'll be the architect of our materials strategy, driving a seamless flow within our production and supplier networks. Your role is fundamental in harmonizing demand with supply, making sure our artists, educators, and entrepreneurs have exactly what they need to fuel their creative fires.
There's one more, very important thing. We are an equal-opportunity employer. We search for amazing people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and perspectives. We take care of each other to create an inclusive work environment where we love to come to work every day.
We'd be happy to provide reasonable accommodations to help you apply - just email us at [email protected]. We hope you can join us. Please send us your resume, cover letter and any relevant materials, and most importantly, a cover letter that tells us about your passion for materials management and why you're excited about this role. We're eager to meet you!
