Requirements for Applying, All of the documents specified below must be attached to your application to be considered for employment. If you have not attached all the required documentation you will not receive an email invitation to pick up the substitute teacher hiring packet.

Materials

• Current valid California CTE: Arts, Media and Entertainment teaching credential
• Copy of unofficial transcripts (BA/BS degree; copies of front and back)
• Verification of "Clearing House" fingerprints through Ventura County Office of Education (VCOE). If you have not completed the fingerprints through VCOE, please copy and paste this link to your browser to schedule an appointment: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7JJ95JS
  
  

If you do not have a copy of your receipt please attach a Word document with the date you had your fingerprints taken for subbing, our office will verify your clearance with the date you provide. Please note, this is NOT the same live scan as the Certificate of Clearance from CTC

• Tuberculosis (TB) test verification (no more than 4 years old)

Upon being hired as a Substitute Teacher you will be asked to complete the Mandated Reporter Training, Preventing Sexual Harassment Training, Recognizing and Preventing Youth Suicide Training, Bloodborne Safety Training, and Sexual Misconduct in Schools courses through Target Solutions.

• Copy of Transcript (BA/BS Transcript)
• Credential Copy (CTE: Arts, Media and Entertainment Teaching Credential)
• Other (Verification of "Clearing House" fingerprints through Ventura County Office of Education (VCOE))
• Resume
• TB Screening Result (TB has to be within the last 4 years)
