About Holly Poultry
From our humble beginnings, Holly Poultry was simply an inner city "ice packed" chicken distribution arm of Holly Farms (an integrated processor that today is owned by Tyson Foods Inc.). In the early 1960's Holly Poultry was spun off from the parent company and became an independently owned distributor servicing the Baltimore market.
In 1990, under new ownership, the mission for Holly Poultry and its role in today's marketplace started to change. A new vision of expansion and growth directed Holly Poultry into new markets. The addition of fresh pork and fresh boxed beef categories expanded our offerings to both wholesale and food service markets. The introduction of poultry further processing started to address product needs for our own customers and market. Through our distributor partners, we began providing a fresh local supply of poultry-based products better suited to meet their customer's needs. Increased product categories, combined with the expanded geographic market, supported our substantial year over year growth.
In support of our mission, Holly Poultry relocated in 2000 to a larger facility on Berlin Street in Baltimore. Today's location was specifically designed to target tomorrow's opportunities in both custom processed poultry programs and the best offerings of wholesale brands of poultry, beef, pork, and turkey available. Now, over a decade later, branded volume exceeds an overall volume more than 100 million pounds and has established itself as the premier processor and distributor in the Mid-Atlantic marketplace where our products can be found in top restaurant chains.

We are currently hiring for: Protein Sales Associate
Job Summary: Maintain Customers' systems and requirements for successful business partnerships, understanding product development, new product launches and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing accurate information efficiently. The Protein Sales Associates will be empowered to make positive enhancements toward becoming a "Customer Focused" organization. This role will also make key decisions, affecting orders, samples request, account modifications and other duties as necessary in lieu of being able to contact the Sale Representative. The Key Account Manager will be trained to understand, work with and help manage multiple business functions, and to use Salesforce.com.

Job Responsibilities
- Direct point of contact to customers and promptly responds to customer inquiries.
- Administration of customer sites and paperwork.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather and compile information requiring professionalism and attention to detail, while allowing a unique opportunity to learn almost all aspects of the business.
- Sets up and maintains customer accounts ensuring it remains active and in good status.
- Continue to drive WLF to be a Customer focused organization.
- Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.
- Partner with all departments of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Associate's Degree in related field or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Must be able to problem solve.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
- Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test and background screen.
