Description

Earthmoving is looking for a Communications Representative to help plan, create, and deliver divisional communications support for services growth, safety, and quality initiatives. This position will also be responsible for managing the division communications inbox and calendar, updating websites, and managing recurring communications channels. This position also consults on some special projects. We are seeking an adaptable and driven professional to bring a strategic viewpoint and deliver on commitments with operational excellence. This role has responsibility for both tactical execution and some strategic consulting work.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and execute internal communications vehicles, including newsletters, web sites, videos/streaming media, employee meetings, Viva Engage communities, etc.
  • Provide strategic communications thought leadership for customers, including division and end user project teams. This includes building strategic communication plans and delivering creative and strategic communications solutions.
  • Write, edit and deliver facility specific communications as needed.
  • Provide logistics, event planning and communications support for special events, including the Earthmoving’s United Way Campaign, International Women’s Day, division-wide meeting support, facility support as needed, etc.
  • Create and edit videos and other multi-media elements for communication purposes.

What You Have

  • College or university degree in communications or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and applications: Sharepoint, Outlook and Outlook Groups, Powerpoint, Teams, etc.
  • 1+ years of job-related experience.

Top Candidates Will Also Have

  • The position benefits from knowledge of Caterpillar policies, practices and procedures.
  • Strong writing and strategic communications skills experience, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Website management experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Unily platforms, experience with the Adobe Creative Suite of tools, and Poppulo is a plus.

Summary Pay Range

$87,480.00 - $131,280.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
