Position Summary: This position provides inspection, evaluation, and review services for the Office of Inspector General, Accountability Section, Inspection and Evaluation Unit. The position will also serve as support for strategy and performance initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identifying, planning, conducting, and reporting on projects through inspections, evaluations, and reviews of department programs and processes;
- Working collaboratively with other Units in the Accountability Section and other sections in the Office of Inspector General (OIG) to accomplish OIG and department goals and objectives;
- Working independently to prioritize projects, plan workloads, identify objectives, and report progress on assigned projects;
- Planning, coordinating, and participating in the research, evaluation, and development of policies, procedures, and SOPs;
- Providing support for the Strategy Unit as the back-up subject matter expert on the Strategic Performance Efficiency and Accountability Reporting (SPEAR) system and data.

- Progressive ability/skill demonstrating compliance with inspection/evaluation standards;
- Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow, and other activities relating to the improvement of management practices;
- Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials;
- Ability to conduct fact finding research;
- Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.
Base Salary: $52,859.88
