The Resident Services Coordinator provides excellent customer service to clients, prospective residents, guests, and vendors. This role is responsible for being the main point of contact for the status of unit work orders and apartments ready to move in. The Resident Services Coordinator will work directly with community managers, service managers, and property team members to ensure the highest quality experience possible for the residents. This role will oversee resident event planning and leasing and may need to purchase items for events such as snacks, refreshments, and so on using the CM Emburse card.

What You’ll Do…

  • Plan resident functions and coordinate events with local businesses to increase resident satisfaction.
  • Manage administrative requests from residents, answer incoming calls, and respond to voicemail messages in a timely manner.
  • Input resident service requests into the property software system and follow up with the maintenance team to ensure all service requests are completed promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure apartment units are in make-ready status for new move-ins by conducting inspections before move-in.
  • Assist with scheduling contractor work and coordinating with residents. Maintain and update insurance certificate files for all contractors performing work at the properties.

Requirements

What You Need to Succeed…

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of experience with customer service preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in hospitality preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess customer service abilities and a courteous, professional attitude.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to successfully navigate frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of property management software, preferably YARDI.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment; Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
