This is a hybrid sales position consisting of office duties and event serving. Compensation for the Event Sales Coordinator includes a combination of hourly pay, commission and/or event pay (gratuities).

Job Description

• Collaborate closely with the General Manager to understand event requirements, objectives, and client expectations.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with guests, managers, and employees.
• Meet with clients for site tours and appointments.
• Support the General Manager to ensure inquiries and leads are responded to in an enthusiastic and timely manner.
• Create banquet event orders, update kitchen menus, confirm details with clients and close out events.
• Coordinate with Operations on all event operations, including venue preparations, invitations, logistics, and staff coordination.
• Conduct final checks on the day of the event, ensuring all arrangements meet the established standards, such as buffet layout and technology setup.
• Accurately enter events into the POS system, following proper cash/payment card procedures.
• Oversee event execution and promptly address any issues or challenges that arise during the event.
• Attend outside sales and networking events with the General Manager.

Qualifications

• 1+ years sales experience within an entertainment concept, theme park or high-volume restaurant.
• Experience with Tripleseat or similar CRM a plus.
• Local or State regulation requirements regarding food handling and/or liquor service.
