Registrar I - PRN

Summary: The Registrar I may be responsible for any of the following: Registration, Customer Service, Insurance Verification, Financial Counseling, Scheduling, Bed Control, Cashier or Reception.

Qualities and Skills:

• Must demonstrate proficiency in at least three of the modalities above within 6 months of hire (one must be Registration)
• Successful completion of additional modalities within department may qualify team member for career advancement (Registrar Career Ladder)
• Computer skills appropriate to the position
• Work independently and with a team
• Organizational skills
• May be required to rotate shift periodically and take call
• Perform other duties as assigned

* Must be able to attend a mandatory 12-day training in Clearwater, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.*

Education:

• Required high school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Preferred 1 year related field
