Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum 1 year Recent/Current acute care Nursing Supervisory experience
  • 2 years experience in Critical Care or Emergency Department
  • Completion of all Orientation requirements of NBIMC.
  • Successful completion of all Orientation programs required by NBIMC.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing; MSN
  • I.V. certification from an approved facility or completion of those requirements preferred.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS
  • Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Night Shift, 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation - if applicable

Essential Functions:

  • The Nursing Administrative Coordinator provides supervision to the Nursing Staff on the evening and night shifts. The Administrative coordinator is responsible for facilitating the resolution of issues relating to staffing and patient care and the communication of such issues to administration.
