POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Associate is the person in charge of promoting Cardenas products and services through excellent customer service, ensuring that all compliance regulations and operation procedures and policies are followed. The main responsibility is to profitably grow sales, which includes: a) Welcoming customers, guiding them through the products, answering questions, and ensuring a pleasant experience; b) Following training manuals and SOPs for department core processes; c) Maintaining required certifications up to date; d) Recommending related products; e) Conducting transactions in the POS; f) Being accountable for sales, cash, and transactions. The role requires continual growth in efficiency, effectiveness, and service while maintaining company core values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Excellence
- Proven track of providing excellent results, showing persistence and perseverance; proactive qualities and self-directed actions.
- Dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers; demonstrates care and compassion for people; maintains positive team relationships.
- Promotes all financial services offered to every customer.
- Complies with the Company's manual of policies and procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Must pass an exam on anti-money laundering compliance training and attend all assigned AML training.
- Maintains working area and equipment in optimal conditions; reports maintenance needed.
- Operates a computer and processes financial transactions effectively.
- Responsible for the safekeeping of cash from financial transactions.
- Provides the highest level of customer service.
- Inventories services under custody.
- Maintains supervisor informed of any event that might require intervention.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in computer navigation and software.
- Attentive and friendly.
- No criminal record.
- Ability to work under little or no supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Confident in a fast-paced, evolving environment with excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Desired but not required: Sales, cash handling, and financial services experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work environment is typical of an office.
