Pierce County's first Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic: Comprehensive Life Resources is seeking a passionate team player to join our Park Place Adult Residential Treatment Facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Function
Provide services to mentally ill consumers. Provide medication evaluation and facilitate the community adjustment of consumers. Serves as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor psychotropic medications. Ensure follow-up on referrals and facilitate continuity of care.
- Provide individual and group therapy to more severely dysfunctional adults and their families.
- Provide activities designed to enhance vocational rehabilitation and socialization skills to consumers.
- Participate in treatment planning.
- Provide services to ensure continuity of care with residential and community facilities.
- (Park Place only) Supervise assigned staff providing program services, including intake, treatment, and consultation.
- Provide education to facilities, professionals, and other treatment caregivers.
- Ensure that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained.
- Maintain clinical records and provide reports in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Participate in meetings and activities as required.
- Coordinate activities with other team members and other staff.
- Demonstrate ongoing commitment to increasing competence and knowledge within the mental health field.
- May be required to work evenings and/or weekends depending upon program needs.
- In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- WA State Licensed Practical Nurse. Significant experience in the provision of psychiatric services, including the use of psychotropic medications. One year relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work with mentally ill individuals.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, work independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
- Valid Washington State driver's license when driving is necessary; proof of insurance.
