Table Games Dealer (PT/Dual Rate)

Supervises the operations of two to eight table games on an assigned shift, placing special emphasis on guest service, security of Binion's assets, and positive employee motivation and coaching. Responsible for the operations of table games on an assigned shift. Displays a working knowledge of all table games, house rules, counting methods, and procedures covering each. Assures that all coin and check racks are filled at all times. Settles disputes that arise from guests in the Table Games area, referring those that are very difficult to the Casino Manager Table Games or Director of Table Games.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or the equivalent.

Licenses: Gaming Registration, Tam Card.

Other: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, professional personal appearance, and excellent communication skills.

Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, get along with co-workers, and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Able to work inside and continuously maneuver in and around assigned tables in the Pit department. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items. Must respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast-paced environment, memorize game rules and procedures, and perform mathematical computations quickly and accurately.

Physical Requirements

Specialized Work Experience: Three years in table games, preferably in pit operations, and two years in a supervisory or dual-rated capacity. Knowledge of Title 31 and internal controls, casino rules, regulations, and procedures in Pit operations is preferred.
