Summary

At Balfour Beatty Construction, we are seeking a Superintendent to work on various projects in the Sacramento area. The Superintendent is responsible for all field operations, including the coordination of subcontractors’ work, the implementation of Safety/Zero Harm program, supervision of construction work, and managing project budgets. The role involves mentoring assistant superintendents and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ten years or more of commercial construction field experience.
• Five years of direct supervisory experience related to staff and subcontractor management.
• Proficiency with communication tools and Microsoft products.
• Ability to read plans and specs.
• Scheduling experience software application (prefer P6 experience).
• Ability to plan and maintain site logistics plans.

Preferred Experience

• DSA.
• Previous or current K-12 and/or Higher Education project history.
• Commercial construction general contractor backgrounds.
• Experience as a commercial construction Superintendent.

The base compensation range for the role of Superintendent in Sacramento, CA is $120,000 to $145,000 annually.
